The desert of the day would be mango sago with pomelo!

This desert has a deeper meaning into it than just a normal desert where people love eating.

The first taste of it would be sweet..so sweet that it makes you smile and send happiness instantaneously into your mouth...however the more you eat it...the very existence of the pomelo kinda produce a slightly bitter taste and the more you eat...the bitterness kinda linger in you mouth with a occasional sweet taste from the mango..

Does this reminds you of anything? well of course it does...its exactly what you will get from marriage!

The very beginning of most marriage starts of with a sweet beginning...lots of happiness...well it has to or else you wouldn't have wanted to get married in the first place....however i said most and not all because there are marriage that are forced and well probably not much happiness going on there...but thats not what we are interested today...

The thought of being with your love one send happiness instantaneously into your life...and maybe mouth if you enjoy kissing or....you know what....

But if you do notice...the longer it gets the duller it gets and the more boring it becomes....now thats the bitter part...well lets not blame it on lack of love...its just...that we humans are made in such a way where we get tired of something pretty easily....

Well its like eating...you might love it at first but if you have it everyday it becomes utterly disappointing in the end...it just can't satisfy you anymore...and thats the same with almost every human beings.

so...when you start seeing your wife everyday....i would say the tiredness kicks in well pretty fast..and then quarrels....blah blah blah....well the sweetness you use to have now becomes bitter... and this bitterness will eventually make its mark in your marriage...since you can choose to stop eating but...you can't choose to stop being with your wife...and divorce isn't an option...well i just simply do not like the idea...thats all..

well the chinese calls this first sweet then bitter..(xian tian hou ku) ain't sure if the pinyin is correct but i think you get the idea....

You might be thinking ain't it suppose to be the other way round...well yes it should be when it comes to study or career but not when it comes to marriage..because if its too bitter you woulnd't have wanted to get marry in the first place....make sensE? if you were to quarrel with your partner everyday and can't stand the sight of her/him....it almost impossible that marriage and spending you entire life with the person would be the first thing on your mind....neither would it have cross your mind!

Since the beginning would always be sweet...then ending would always end up with bitter..well it all depends how long does it take the bitterness to set in....well the bitterness might even take a longer time intruding your life than you remaining alive...that explains why some people can love till the very end...

But chances are its pretty slim of course...so...its not always possible to defy natural...unless you start your marriage with a bitter note....than....congratulations.. to all who started of with a sweet and extremely sweet note....well....take care and hope you pull through the tide....good luck!

The broad categories of drivers

***WARNING*** BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT TO READ THE FOLLOW SECTION, DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GET OFFENDED BY IT IF YOU HAPPEN TO BE ONE OF THE CATEGORY MENTION. REASON BECAUSE IF YOU THINK YOU ARE BEING MENTION IT JUST MEANS YOU SUCK!

Lets start categorize bad drivers on the road into a few category.

Well in fact there are technically only 4 category and they are:
1 - Occasionally error drivers
2 - Old People
3 - New Drivers
4 - Selfish Drivers
5 - WOMEN

Lets go through each cat and explaining them in details.

The occasionally error drivers well applies almost to everyone except the other 3 categories. I mean since no one is perfect and commits mistake once in a while, but it just happen that the driver commit the mistake unintentionally or a lapse of focus. It happens people...we live in singapore and there are simply too many things to think about thus..well....yah...so sometimes due to a lapse of concentrations we commit silly mistake while driving.

The next category is the old people...while i mean its pretty obvious...as you grow older your focus and concentration will tend to degenerate and it will in a way affect your driving skills. Driving is about concentration and reacting fast to certain situation. BUT I will like to highlight is it doesn't mean older people shouldn't drive because we should in fact just accommodate them. And we shouldn't discriminate them...besides they probably use to be really good drivers or they have contributed to the society in many ways before we were born.

The third one would be new drivers...i guess i don't have to go into details of these...it just make sense...since you are new to something...it will take time for you to get use to driving around in this society especially with the next category drivers around.

Before i touch on the next two category...i would like to highlight the fact...the first 3 category are forgivable in fact we should accept it as everyday life..so we shouldn't complain about them. But the remaining category are the truly unforgivable bunch we will go into details after the commercial break.........

And now we are back...

The 4th category refers to F8ckers with small winnie! They are those people who refuse to courteously give way to others who are changing into their lane. They are the people who constantly think they should always have the right of way and no matter what...they will squeeze into the smallest gap as to not allow anyone else to enter into their precious lane and lead!

They are like competing in a race of personal satisfaction when they see other drivers stuck to their own lane and losing to them in rankings..(their own mutherf8cking ranking system) They believe positions are everything in driving....they must always be first and will never settle for second behind others. They believe they are the best and will never be require others to be kind enough to give way to them when they are changing lane. OR they Expect others to give way to them as if they deserved it.

Another unforgiving characteristic would be they love hitting the horns to warn drivers away from their lane even thou the front drivers has already half of their vehicles into their lane. In other words they expect the drivers who had already changed into their lane to move away and allow them to regain their lead. They just do not understand....its really ok to let others change into your lane IF they had signal their intention early and you are of quite a distance away from them or you are in a stationary position where you could delay your f8cking move off time to allow them to change into your F8cking lane! Their F8cking foot are so damn F8cking heavy that they have to step on something once they release their feet from the brake. well enough of F8ckers...they ain't deserving anymore anger from me.

Lastly they are the crucial and most important category of this topic because its every drivers nemesis to meet one on the road!

Now when i said women i am not only mentioning about females...no no...cause there are also males who thinks they are female and apparently drives like one...i mean if you are slow...i understand...but if you are damn slow...then for god sake don't buy a car ride a bicycle instead. Its like there are times where i believe i would have walked faster than them driving.

And i ain't only talking about driving slowly...but driving with common sense...apparently...some of these women drivers totally have no drive sense at all! For example...there ain't no reason to hit the brakes when you are like a mile away from the traffic light junction with no cars infront of you. Is it necessary? I seriously do not think so...you might think u r safe...but in fact you are creating a hazard by doing so.

I ain't sure why..but probably driving rules are set by men...thus i guess women just do not understand them at all. Another example...there is this scooter who takes up a entire lot at my condo area. Its a sheltered parking lot. I mean seriously...i understand every single apartment is being designated a lot and yes the owner ain't wrong parking at the sheltered lot. But don't you feel slight embarrass parking your huge scooter in a CAR PARKING lot? In fact other drivers realized it and park along the walkway of the shelter carpark...and i am sure no one would mind...since it ain't hindering anyone's pathway....and its not illegal because the traffic jurisdiction doesn't apply in my condo!

YES guess what the owner of the scooter is a women! SHE thinks oh since i am entitled to a whole lot i shall park my freaking huge scooter and occupy the entire lot. See what i mean? women just do not understand driving...its not about just hitting the gears, gasing the vehicle and things like that...there is more to it...driving is in fact an art and a skill that requires understanding and respect.

You can't just learn it through books and following the books closely. But i guess some women just don't understand...

Well talking about huge vehicles there are lots of people who thinks they are freaking bus drivers....why? Cause its damn obvious that their car is small enough to pass through the freaking huge gap....yet they decide to stop their vehicle and wait for the old men to erect before they will slowly roll their vehicle through the gap! GOD DAMN IT....you ain't driving no bus or truck....its just a small CAR...i mean do they really need to get off the car and measure the gap in between their car and the obstacle before they will then attempt to push their car through it?

Maybe we should invent a vernier calipers big enough for them to measure the gap so they better know if their huge huge vehicle can actually pass through the small gap. And probably call it VeHicular CARlipers!

These are the 4 broad main categories...and actually each of them do branch further...but i think i had summon enough anger for the day...don't really wanna kill my entire brain cells in my already puny brain. SO women pls do not get offended...because you people are just that bad!

Why why why

There is something i don't understand. Why does the Olympics precede The National Day Rally? And it cause the nation to watch a delayed 24 hours telecast of the COUNTRY's Prime Minister's Speech!!!

We are talking a Prime Minister of Singapore and how is he less important than 3 chinese winning medals for Singapore? I ain't going to go into whether we should hire of import foreign talents to play for our countries...but seriously...I do not see why them winning medals are of more importance than the announcement of the govt's policy to the general public!

Why can't we watch the Rally Live and the olmypics on delayed telecast? I am sure it will be alright...yes yes you might be thinking well policy wouldn't be implemented overnight and beside by hearing it now and tomorrow or the day after next wouldn't affect your life at all. I totally agree with the statement i just typed....but this just show how our media prioritize the our leader and the games.

If its according the to above argument on it will not affect our lives, then...touch wood...what if one of our big shot died...do we still go ahead with the olympics? I mean it wouldn't make much of a difference knowing that he died now or tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.

Well probably i personally do not have much hype about the 3 of them winning a medal...i am not saying because they are not born in singapore but i just can't feel the excitment of hoping they win a medal. Its not that i am not patriotic or anything like that...The true reason is....I swear...I am not lying or bullshitting when i say this.....the true reason behind it would be that....I SERIOUSLY DO NOT KNOW.

Maybe because i ain't interested in the sports...more of a swimming kinda guy...football...and all other sports...however i did watch germany vs korea for table tennis....but thats out of the topic today...

To be honest i have nothing else to talk about...erm...besides...i still do not agree singaporeans should watch a delayed telecast of the national day rally....it should precede all other programs....unless soldiers are dying for our country...but no one is dying and they ain't no soldiers and....welll....to be honest i doubt even if they won the gold they will cry singing the national anthem...then again...most singaporean in school doesnt really sing the anthem...that shows how much pride we all have!

I remember watching one of the program about the old singapore football team and how the coach made them sing the anthem with pride and will continuously sing till he sense pride in their singing...well i truly believe its a great way cause...then would you be fighting and playing for something greater than individual achievement. One can only go so far...but with a pressure for achieving something for your country...that is what that will push you forward...the pride of doing it for your country..

I do not know how patriotic our athletes are but i seriously don't think they are doing it for the country....more of individual achievements...but hey...who am i to say anything...i mean i ain't them and i ain't contributing anything to the country as yet.

Maybe and just maybe it will be a good idea to make all our athletes sing the national anthem everyday before they starts practicing and singing it with pride is the key not just going through the motion...if you ask me if micheal phelps sings every morning...i swear i do not know...who knows...he is a god...but he lost to IAN THORPE.

Well have nothing much else to say since i kinda drift away from my original topic once again...so....stay patriotic...be willing to do your country some good and as i quote J. F. Kennedy " Ask Not What Your Country Can Do For, But What Can You Do For Your Country."

Well well...everyone has been bitching about the govt and about singapore....and i am talking to people who born in singapore...yes singaporeans..

Saying we do not have enough freedom...govt ain't doing a good jobs...lots of unemployed blah blah blah...the list go on and on...

But seriously...look around our neighbors....how worst of are we? i seriously do not get it....so if you were to be born in Indonesia would you even have the time to think about no upgrading for your HDB flats when you do not even have your basic necessity taken care of?

Come on...all these additional stuff that the govt could do or could have done is just a additional benefits....remember you would even think about complaining about stuff like this because and ONLY because your basic necessity is taken care of...

YES you might be comparing singapore with nations like japan korea and most of the western countries...serious i can't think of lots of nations where say they are better than singapore...

Well why must you always compare with the better ones? why don't you just be satisfy and compare with our neighbor who are just nearer to us. It would really make sense right? why compare with countries that are so far away from us?

You think the govt can make singapore snow? you think the govt can control the weather and create four season in singapore? compare around the region people..

Second...the so called better countries have so much history in them...they have been around for like few centuries....and singapore what? 43 years? u want to compare a baby fitness with a young adult one? comparing who can run faster? baby or young adult?

you saying the singapore culture sucks...and the Korean and Japaneses culture are much better...you think the govt dictate the singapore culture? its you yourself...if you would just stop complaining and cultivate a better culture i am sure people will start admiring our singapore culture too..

And lastly before you even start to complain about singapore....please compare yourself as a citizen with citizen of other countries...

ARe you as loyal and patriotic as the koreans and japanese? oh you might be saying why compare with the best right....i would say...even an Indonesians with a lousy govt have much more pride being an Indonesian as compared to a singaporean.

NEW law for taxi drivers

I would strongly suggest taxi to keep to the left side of the lane too...Well actually lets make it compulsory..i mean i ain't saying they are dangerous in fact i am doing them a favour so they will not have to miss any clients while they are happily driving in the first or second lane...where passengers would never be waiting for cabs...i mean have you seen anyone waiting for taxi at the road shoulders? i guess not...neither would you have seen any passengers flagging a taxi in the middle of the bloody road!

So UNLESS you DO NOT want to pick up any passengers DON"T BLOODY hell drive in the middle of the lane. OR you already HAVE a passengers in the cab.

Why am i suggesting? easy I just saw a cab turning on his hazard light in the middle lane..well first impression would be well i guess the cab is down...but to my demise...it because there is a passenger waiting for cab on the left side of the lane...so that bloody cab driver simply stop in the middle of the road and then expect everyone to just change lane so he/she can pick up the passenger...its not really the passengers fault...neither is it the taxi driver's fault...I mean its because the LAW didn't say ALL taxi drivers who AIN"T having any passengers WOULD have to STICK TO THE LEFT LANE!

well in addition to that i believe the follow statement would also be necessary. ANY TAXI WHO FAIL TO OBEY THE ABOVE LAW WOULD HAVE THEIR TAXI LICENSE REVOKE FOR LIFE.

Well i am pretty sure it might work....well its not too much to ask from anyone i guess...I ain't saying anyone who disobey the law would be punish by the death penalty...its only revoking of license...And if you think its too much and ridiculous...does it only means that you are already planning on breaking the law even before the law has been implement?

So to be honest people who keep arguing about the punishment being too strict are just being ridiculous themselves...cause unless you break the law..you will not suffer any punishment...and if you break the law you ought to be punish and it should not be how lenient the punish is...cause a punishment is a punish.

Well maybe everyone deserve a second chance...so i guess it would also be fair to give a warning the first 2 times...but i seriously do not see a need to not implement a harsh punish for the third offense. AND please....don't give us crap about human rights and stuff like these....Given the law and punishment being already made known to everyone...yet you still feel like pushing your luck and break the damn law...well i guess you should really be punished HARD.

SO if we are talking about human rights...in terms of punishment...then should we be building a resort for those prisoners to relax...and then try to convince them by giving them full body massages not to commit the same crime again?

Actually nah...i cna't be a movie director...i do not have the talent...but i do have some ideas....about women football...

What are friends for.!

what really are the definitions of friends? Well to me...its when even after a few years of not contacting...and out of the sudden you need help...they will be be there readily to offer their service.

Thats what i call friends...friends ain't about contacting 24/7....being together most of the time doesn't constitute as friends...sounds more like your colleague or well your spouse or your little brather..

Once friends....the bond is hard to be broken...not even time can disconnect the link....some people including me...(well last time, but i suddenly got the revelation while bathing) thought that...if someone would to be calling you after a long time...its only because he/she is bored or he/she needs your help thats why they would be calling you....AND sad to say i use to not think of these people as friends..

But after some serious thought...i am a criminal myself...i do commit the same act that i condemn...so whats really the problem?

Well the problem is there isn't any problem to begin with...yes they called you when they needed help...but thats only because they thought of me as someone they can be depended on...thats because they trust me to help them and be there for them when they are in need...why not other why me? thats because i am simply their friends..

Regardless of how big or small the issue is...even if he/she just needed a talk to past time...at least they thought of me....at least i was on their list on people to be depended on...

Thus i have decided to become a dependable friend....if its within my limits...and if my brathers need help I will be there and trust me i will not be complaining about it...not even the slightest....

EXperiences...from some old guys.....and my new idol

came back for reservist...another week of doing nothing and feeling useless....Somehow i feel like going back to be a reccee....yes it going to be freaking shiong....(tough) but...at least i enjoy being with my recce bras!
